Why do I have a mark saying that I used cheat codes when I did not.

First off, let me say that this is a great game and thanks for developing it. I have enjoyed playing immensely and decided I would try out the metaverse.

I had a bit of a problem with the metaverse. I don't have an internet connection at my home so I use a bluetooth cellular link to start metaverse games and to finish them. I don't have the link constantly on during the game and all I did was Alt-Tab out when it asked if I wanted to post, started the bluetooth link and then Alt-Tab in and click yes to post and it said I had used cheat codes. What did I do wrong?

The only other thing I did was Ctrl-N once at the beginning because the star systems were all clumped together and it didn't look like a fun map. Was that the cheat code I used? If that's the case I'll never do that again!

Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

Crtl-N isn't a cheat--the detector does need adjustment still so that it accounts for all legitimate play strategies. You should send your End Game Save (it is automatically made when you complete a metaverse game) to gc2bugs@stardock.com, along with a note saying that it was flagged as cheating when you did not (a link to your profile on the metaverse would be good too so they know where the game is at there).

Thanks for the information. I'll do that as soon as possible.
